Platinum x Goulet Pens

The Platinum x Goulet Pens “Stardust” was produced in 2016 for Goulet Pens, a fountain pen retailer in Virginia, USA. This is an extremely rare edition with only 38pcs. Goulet Pens tweeted about it upon release, and it sold out immediately according to chatter on Fountain Pen Network.

Description

The translucent black body has tiny sparkle glitter throughout. The “Stardust” is similar to the North American “Carnelian” and Shop Channel “Pink Shine” in design (demonstrator body with sparkles). This pen features a gold nib and trim.

“The #3776 Century applies the patented “Slip & Seal Mechanism” that prevents dye or pigment ink from drying out in the pen. Even after two years of not using the pen with the cap on, it provides smooth, reliable writing. This mechanism allows those who only use the pen once or twice a year writing with fresh new ink.” – Platinum Pen USA.

Rarity and Availability

Shop collaborations are produced in limited numbers, but this is extremely limited. It appeared once on Peyton Pens’ resale page, selling for $200. I’ve had an eBay alert set for this pen for two years with no hits.
