My History With Platinum #3776 Century Pens
I have been collecting Platinum #3776 Century pens for several years. My first was a Chartres Blue, and I bought a Nice Lavande soon after. It was the heart shaped breather hole that caught me first, then the writing experience. The regular lineup of Platinum #3776 Century pens is, admittedly, pretty conservative. But once you get into the limited editions and special editions, the brand gets really interesting. The pink mosaic celluloid Sakura is a gorgeous pen, and the Beckoning Cat is adorable. I am currently searching for rare editions and the rest of the Fuji Five Lakes series. Motosu, you will be mine someday!
It is hard to find comprehensive info on special editions, since most of them come out with no notice. And they are mostly only in the Japanese market. I have been scouring the web for years trying to find a list of all the Platinum collaborations and special editions. This blog is the result of those searches.
