We have been creating NICE series to express a fountain pen that invokes the contrast between a subdued light and the shimmering water.”

Barrel Design: “[We] apply a sandblast finish, a process to make asperities on the surface by striking sand grains, providing an opaque glass image. On the surface, we have cut grooves at the precise angles with sharper cutting, which depending on the angle of the cut, the shimmer of the light changes.”

The Rosé, Lavande, and Lilas models feature rose gold plated 14k gold nibs and rose gold trim. The Pur model features rhodium trim. The model debuted in 2014 and the first 3000 pens came in a special oval box with a blotter card and serial number.

There is some chatter that the model is being discontinued, as the section and body develop cracks. Currently part of the #3776 Collection.
